These terms apply to the DogTerritory game ("the game") and this website. By downloading or playing the game you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
The game
DogTerritory is a single-player logic puzzle game. It is free to play and needs no account. The game is currently in beta, so levels, features and balance may change, and you may run into bugs. We welcome reports at support@guaguatu.com.
Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the game on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, in line with these terms and the rules of the store you got it from.
Bones and other in-game items
Bones, unlocked dogs and other in-game items exist only inside the game. They have no monetary value, cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for money, and are not your property. They are stored on your device, so deleting the app or losing the device loses them, and we cannot restore them. We may adjust how items are earned or used as the game evolves.
Fair use
Please do not copy, modify, redistribute or resell the game or its content; reverse-engineer it except where the law allows; interfere with or overload the servers that deliver the daily puzzle and settings; or use the game for anything unlawful.
Ownership
The game, its puzzles, artwork, dogs, music, sounds, text and code are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not give you any rights to them other than the licence above.
Privacy
How the game handles information is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and your progress stays on your device.
Online features
The daily challenge and game settings are downloaded over the internet. We try to keep them available but do not promise that they will always work, and we may change or end them.
App stores
If you got the game from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google, and we alone are responsible for the game and its support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Where these terms conflict with the store's own usage rules, the store's rules apply.
Disclaimer
The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that saved progress will never be lost.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data or progress, arising from your use of the game. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
Ending use
You can stop using the game at any time by deleting it. If you break these terms, your licence ends. We may stop offering the game or any part of it.
Changes
We may update these terms. The new version will be posted on this page with a new date, and continuing to play after that means you accept it.
